The Office of Economic Development helps achieve this by connecting you with the U of I's vast range of services, resources and expertise embedded in our campuses and research facilities throughout the state. We can help you navigate the breadth and depth of our university system to find the resources you need. - Entrepreneurship Law Clinic
U of I College of Law third-year students assist business owners and entrepreneurs while attaining real-life experience handling transactional legal problems. - Food Technology Center
U of I’s Food Technology Center in Caldwell offers business processing and educational assistance to aspiring food entrepreneurs and small-scale food processors. This Center has a licensed commercial kitchen and processing space to manufacture food products. - Family Justice Clinic
U of I College of Law and FACES have partnered to provide free legal services to victims of domestic abuse referred from FACES to our new domestic violence experiential learning program. - James A. and Louise McClure Center for Public Policy Research
The McClure Center is Idaho's most trusted and preeminent public policy research entity and it’s uniquely poised to serve as a convener of diverse stakeholders, and provide reliable, nonpartisan information on tough policy issues. Its collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to addressing society’s complex challenges sustains Senator McClure’s remarkable legacy. - Vandal Solutions, College of Business and Economics
Vandal Solutions is a not-for-profit group that provides professional-quality marketing and advertising services to businesses. It allows students to develop real world business skills through project management, creative marketing and sales. - Idaho Patent Pro Bono Program
The U of I College of Law Idaho Patent Pro Bono Program facilitates the placement of qualified Idaho inventors seeking advice about the patent process with volunteer attorneys who are qualified to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) - Business Process Center
This Center will help businesses in forming and executing strategy. Through process management, this will enable efficient organizational performance. - U of I Extension Entrepreneurship Course
U of I Extension’s Dream Builder is a free online course that will teach entrepreneurs how to start or expand their business. The course is offered in English and Spanish. Participants work at their own pace to complete 15 online modules. In this course they will learn how to create and manage their business, marketing, bookkeeping and sales. - Integrated Design Lab
The U of I Integrated Design Lab in Boise (IDL) is dedicated to the development of high performance energy efficient buildings in the Intermountain West. Those who utilize the resources available through the IDL will design and construct buildings that are more comfortable for people, require less energy to maintain and operate, and enhance the health and productivity of inhabitants. - Northwest Knowledge Network, Office of Research and Development (ORED)
The Northwest Knowledge Network (NKN) provides research data management and computing support for U of I researchers and their regional, national, and international collaborators. NKN operates as a partnership between ORED, U of I Information Technology Services, and the U of I Library.
