Apply U of I is the University of Idaho's annual bottom-of-the-funnel, conversion-generating, hyper-targeted, hyper-local advertising campaign. With more than one million impressions, this campaign reached potential students and potential parents right where they are — with billboard ads, search engine marketing, mobile display ads, streaming television, broadcast radio and social media.
You may think — I never saw this campaign in the wild? Many of our stakeholders never see this campaign — and that’s a good thing. The targeted nature of this campaign allows us to make the most impact.
This year, we did more tracking than ever before and tried new marketing channels. This campaign will continue to evolve in the future to serve the ever-developing needs of our potential students.

Over the Top Television (or OTT) was initially named in reference to devices that go “over” a cable box to give the user access to TV content. Today, OTT is streaming television content delivered via internet connection rather than a traditional cable/broadcast provider.
