Senior Inquiry Campaign

You know those piles of college postcards and masses of emails seniors in high schools get from colleges? That’s our senior inquiry campaign.

Quick definition: an inquiry is anyone who has asked us for information at a college fair, high school visit or online — or anyone who has been to a recruitment event or campus visit. They’ve “inquired” and shown interest.

This campaign is all about making an impression — and getting these interested students to the application stage. With a series of timed and automated postcards and emails, the potential students get information in bite-sized chunks filled with links to our website to explore more and reminders to apply.

The crown jewel of this campaign is the viewbook. The viewbook is our take on that quintessential college brochure — with the glossy pages and beautiful photos. You know the one. But we make it our own. We use a matte black cover with a high gloss gold I. When it comes in the mail, it’s sure to stand out from the rest and make an impact.

Though this campaign is still running until the fall 2019 academic calendar begins, web clicks and views higher than last year. This year’s campaign will set a benchmark, with our next goal to strengthen their web visit — with metrics like more pages per session, lowered bounce rates and longer session lengths.
