You’ve just completed a tremendous feat.
I speak for everyone in the College of Art and Architecture when I say that we are incredibly proud of all your achievements and are impressed by your desire to succeed in the face of adversity during these unprecedented times.
We have missed seeing you on campus but are excited to celebrate with you as you join the more than 110,000 Brave and Bold Vandal Alumni. It’s a network that supports one another in careers and life, for the rest of your life. CAA alumni stay connected through our passion for art, design and making positive change. Your experiences here, from staying up all night in studio to learning from an inspiring mentor, have helped you accomplish your goals and changed your life. We have enjoyed taking this journey with you and look forward to inviting you back for critiques, lectures and homecomings.
I wish we could have celebrated your accomplishments together this spring, but the health and safety of our Vandal Family is our top priority. We hope you will consider joining us for the special Summer Commencement ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 1, in the ASUI-Kibbie Activity Center. You’re also welcome to walk in our December 2020 or May 2021 ceremonies.
Yours is a story of resilience and is one that will motivate you for decades to come. The Class of 2020 has a special place in our history and our hearts.
Take care of yourselves and each other. It won’t be long until we can be together to celebrate your success.
