Virtual Reality Lab

Faculty Lead: Jean-Marc Gauthier

In the Virtual Reality (VR) Lab, Jean-Marc Gauthier develops applications of VR for entertainment, visualization of nature, bio-computing of virtual proteins, education, social interactions and collaboration and more. Students learn how to create and produce virtual worlds in which a viewer can perceive, navigate and take actions. The goal is to create virtual worlds - based on reality - where the viewer feels comfortable with the technology and conveys emotions and important social engagement cues.
