Environmental Science, B.S.
The University of Idaho’s Environmental Science program offers an interdisciplinary approach for students committed to studying sciences associated with air, water, energy and soil. The program enables students to analyze and search for solutions to local, national and global environmental problems. Faculty includes soil scientists, engineers, biologists, ecologists, geographers, political scientists, sociologists, economists, chemists and hydrologists. They work across traditional disciplines to provide students with a comprehensive education in environmental problem solving. This unique, hybrid program is the best of both worlds: combining in-person and online education to support students one-on-one while affording the convenience of carefully crafted online courses.
