The University of Idaho Curriculum and Instruction graduate program allows students to advance their understanding of educational practices and theories, and provides them with the ability to improve professional practice. The Educational Leadership program prepares highly qualified educational administrators at the master, specialist and doctoral degree levels with certification or competency emphasis for K-12 principals and superintendents. The University of Idaho’s Environmental Science Program offers an interdisciplinary approach for students committed to studying sciences associated with air, water and soil. The program provides students with educational and research tools that enable them to analyze and search for solutions to local, national and global environmental problems. Faculty from throughout the University, including soil scientists, engineers, biologists, ecologists, geographers, political scientists, sociologists, economists, chemists and hydrologists, work across traditional disciplines to provide you with a comprehensive education in the how's and why's of environmental problem solving. The University of Idaho Executive MBA is ideal for working managers and professionals on an executive track who want to enhance their leadership skills with a quality business degree without interrupting their careers. The two-year program combines the rigor and depth of a traditional MBA with integrated learning and a flexible, work and family-friendly format of an executive program.

Executive MBA at a Glance

  • 22 months, Full-time, AACSB accredite
  • Program Focus: Integrative management with an emphasis on managing and leading organizations

  • Faculty: College of Business and Economics faculty and other U-Idaho experts

Prepare for your career helping those with disabilities live full, productive and independent lives in a program that gives you the broad understanding of the medical and psychosocial effects of a disability in professional, social and family environments. Graduates are eligible for national certification as a rehabilitation counselor (CRC) and state licensure as a professional counselor (LPC).

Through coursework and practicum experiences, you will learn to teach students with special needs. Undergraduates can earn dual certification and both a bachelor’s degree in elementary or secondary education and a master’s degree in special education in as few as five years; experienced special education professionals can expand their knowledge in the field with an master's students with a bachelor’s degree who are new to the field can earn a master's and become certified to teach special education.
