Computer Science is a fast-growing industry with high paying career options and dramatic impact on the economy of our state. The University of Idaho is committed to showing elementary, middle and high school students statewide the opportunities of computer coding and related skills through our expanding summer camp program.
Industry partners are vital to helping Idaho’s young people experience the excitement of computer coding. Thanks to industry support, more than 800 K-12 students have participated in Dig’nIT activities in Coeur d’Alene, Moscow and Boise. Your commitment to the next generation of computer experts begins now, with the 2017 Dig'nIT computer camp series.
Dig’nIT welcomes any organization to fund portions or the entire program in return for recognition of the sponsor’s generous contribution. We can customize sponsorships to the organization’s needs, from social media posts to signage at Dig'nIT special events to sponsor presentations.
Some sponsorship opportunities:
Premier Sponsor: a singular donor funds all components for one or more years of the Dig'nIT program, buying naming rights for those years which will be called the “[year] [sponsor] Dig'nIT Summer Program."
Camp Sponsor: a singular donor will fund one camp program and receive, in return, recognition and branding on all printed and digital components of that particular camp. Further, donors will be given the opportunity to visit the camp and speak to campers. We encourage creating an engaging, STEM-focused presentation.
Internship Sponsor: a donor may contribute to the Dig'nIT Summer Tech Internship for high schools students and will, in return, receive recognition and branding on all printed and digital components of the internship program. Further, donors will be given the opportunity to present and speak with interns during the program wrap-up event at the end of the summer.
