U of I Film Festival Spotlights the Culture of the Weimar Republic 100 Years Later

MOSCOW, Idaho — Oct. 17, 2018 — The founding of Germany’s first republic and its first experiment with democracy and open society marks its 100th anniversary on Nov. 9, 2018. The University of Idaho will commemorate that centennial and its place in world history with a free retrospective film and lecture series throughout November and December titled “Weimar Germany: History, Film and Memory – 100 Years Later.” Read more
