U of I Sociology Professor Dilshani Sarathchandra Earns Teaching Award

Dilshani Sarathchandra, an associate professor of sociology at the University of Idaho, was recognized for her innovative and creative approaches to teaching and her commitment to mentoring students. Sarathchandra received the Early Career Award for Innovation in Teaching Sociology from the Pacific Sociological Association. The award honors and encourages the work of junior faculty who typically have fewer than seven years of teaching experience. Read more
