Hello! My name is Maria Marlin, and I am a M.S. student in Dr. George Newcombe's lab. I am working with Western white pine endophytes to determine if there are any microbes that can act as a preventive treatment for white pine blister rust. I am also involved in a project on poplar and poplar rust. In my free time, I love to do anything outdoors! My main hobbies include horseback riding, hiking in the mountains, running, and biking.
