October 18
3:30-4:20pm Pacific Time
College of Natural Resources Room 203 A

Dr. Todd Brinkman is an Assistant Professor of Wildlife Ecology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). He received a B.S. from Minnesota State U. (2000), a M.S. from South Dakota State U. (2003), and a PhD from UAF (2009). Todd’s research primarily explores: 1) the human dimensions of wildlife (especially hunting systems), 2) larger mammal ecology, and 3) the impacts of amplified climate change and anthropogenic activity on social-ecological systems. Dr. Brinkman's lab tackles complex (and often contentious) issues using an inclusive interdisciplinary approach and a diversity of tools.
