Teaching

Take classes in the College of Natural Resources and you will be actively involved in managing the Experimental Forest. Hands-on, field-based educational experiences are integrated into academic programs, complementing and fortifying concepts taught in the classroom.

FOR 424 Forest Dynamics and Management and FOR 430 Forest Operations students in the B.S. Forestry degree and Forest Operations Minor prepare stand silvicultural prescription plan timber management activities that implement those prescriptions.
