Removing Access Barriers for Students with Disabilities

Trip dates: November 13th- 15th

Mandatory Pre-Meetings: 11/5 (6-8pm, Location TBD) and 11/13 (6-8pm, via Zoom)

Join ASB for a weekend of service in and around Moscow. Volunteers will learn about making campus and local community more accessible for everyone. Disabilities are both visible and invisible and affect many students on our campus. How accessible is our campus? How are students with disabilities accommodated? What does ADA stand for? Learn this and more at our Removing Access Barriers for Students with Disabilities Weekend ASB experience! Participants will join the Center for Disability Access and Resources and the Center on Disabilities and Human Development to learn more about making campus and our local community more accessible for everyone. This event is a hybrid and will have in person and online components. Participants are required to adhere to all University of Idaho COVID safety policies including the Healthy Vandal Pledge.
