Bryan Austin’s research interests include:
- Rehabilitation Counselor Clinical Competencies that Address Bias
- Intellectual and Co-Occurring Psychiatric Disabilities
The Rehabilitation Counseling and Human Services Program is primarily designed to be "practitioner focused," however, students are encouraged to participate in research to further their understanding of the professional literature and purpose of counseling research. As a part of the curriculum and course expectations, students will demonstrate knowledge of the utility of research as a tool for current and future counselors in applying an evidence-based practice approach.
