Your Orientation

New student orientation is your official welcome to the University of Idaho. Here, your orientation is two events: UIdaho Bound and Vandal Welcome.

UIdaho Bound is the first step in your orientation process — not to mention a great way to experience U of I and all it has to offer before classes begin.

UIdaho Bound dates are in March, May, June and July.

Vandal Welcome is the second part of your U of I orientation experience. This is your chance to move-in, settle in after Greek recruitment and attend events with other incoming students and families.

Vandal Welcome is August 22-30.

It is an expectation of the University that all new students, including those participating in Greek Recruitment, attend Vandal Welcome.

NOTE: All new, full-time U of I undergraduates on the Moscow campus are automatically charged the $100 New Student Orientation fee, apart from tuition and fees. This fee is non-refundable regardless of Vandal Welcome event attendance.
