Ag Talk Tuesday

Ag Talk Tuesdays are virtual sessions about agriculture with University of Idaho professionals and peers to discuss current crop issues and timely topics as the field season progresses. Each session includes featured topics, questions, updates and current ag events.

Held the first and third Tuesday through May to August via Zoom

Join us May 4, 2021 (11 a.m. to 1 p.m. MT), registration is required. Instructions on how to join the 2021 sessions will be made available soon.

Recordings of 2020 sessions

This session features in-season nutrient management with soil and petiole sampling (Linda Schott) and weed and chemical load on compost vs manure (Mario de Haro-Martí).

This session features final fungicide recommendations for small grains and other hot topics (Juliet Marshall) and using Teff grass as an emergency crop (Joseph Sagers).

This session features field projects of cropping systems of alfalfa, quinoa, barley and wheat (Xi Liang)

This session features an update by the University of Idaho’s College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Dean (Michael P. Parrella).
