Vandal Student, Police Officer Continues Education
With top-notch professors and incredible state-of-the-art study environments, the University of Idaho provides learning opportunities for many individuals from all walks of life. Father, husband, full-time student and police officer, Keith J. Davis juggles his daily tasks with honor.
“During my first year at the university my primary obstacle was reacquainting myself with the college atmosphere,” he said. “This last year has by far been the most challenging, but it’s only a temporary challenge.”
Davis has found his scholarship opportunities to be a mild relief to his busy schedule and looks forward to graduation day.
“My scholarships have eased the burden of the costs of text books and other costs associated with my education,” Davis said. “It has also decreased my overall long-term debts, which are common when pursuing a degree.”
After graduating with his degree in operations management, Davis plans on returning to criminal investigations work as a police officer. He will then pursue a leadership position that will allow him to assist in mentoring and developing future leaders in law enforcement.
