Funding the Education of a Future Scientist, Professor, Researcher, Writer
With goals of becoming the first person in his family to earn a doctorate, Caleb Renshaw is constantly immersed in his studies at U of I. Donations have been an incredible aid to such a time commitment.
“Were it not for these scholarships, my expenses would quickly outpace my income,” Renshaw explained. “I would be forced to dedicate more time away from my academic work in order to simply make enough money to fund my education.”
Renshaw is pursuing degrees in philosophy and biochemistry with an aim to become a career scientist, professor, researcher and writer. The funding he receives is what allows him to put in the focus necessary to achieve these aspirations.
“For this gift and your generous support, I offer you a humble but heartfelt ‘thank you,’” Renshaw said.
