NASEM: Branches of the Same Tree - Integrating the Arts, Humanities and Sciences in Higher Education Town Hall Event Sept. 26-27

The University of Idaho and Washington State University will co-host a town hall event Sept. 26-27, to roll out the 2018 report of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine (NASEM). Titled “Branches from the Same Tree: Integrating the Arts, Humanities and Sciences in Higher Education,” the event seeks to celebrate existing cross-disciplinary efforts at the two universities, identify obstacles to this work and develop strategies for fostering future collaborations. Construction Begins on Administration Building

Construction begins this week on the Southwest exterior façade of the Administration Building. A portion of the northeast corner of Parking Lot 040 will be blocked off to allow construction staging and work space for the contractor. It is expected that the construction fencing will be in place for 70 to 90 days. Read more
