Classroom Technology Services
For the university community, we provide a variety of services. We focus primarily on presentation equipment. This can be the equipment in the multimedia classrooms, or helping design and install equipment for a department conference room or classroom.
Installation, management, maintenance and support to users of computers and audio/visual equipment in general purpose classrooms controlled by the Registrar and non-general purpose classrooms built and maintained by Classroom Technology Services and covered under the terms of a MOU or other agreement between the department/owner and ITS.
We can design, order, and install audio/visual equipment and systems on campus. Some projects will require outside assistance from Facilities Management. This can add additional costs.
We administer the cloud-based video conferencing bridge, Zoom. Provide support and assistance for Zoom for departments that do not have their own system administrators. Consult, design and administer the video conferencing infrastructure for the university campus.
