Frequently Asked Questions
The University of Idaho's Document Imaging System provides a comprehensive solution to manage its overwhelming volumes of paper, improve its ability to serve our students and staff and enable employees to access student and financial information regardless of location.
The document imaging system consists of the scanning of paper documents; giving those documents identifying values so they can be retrieved (known as Index Values) and allowing end users to retrieve and view the electronic version of that document on their computer via the Imaging Client software.

Oracle I/PM (Imaging for short) is a software program that allows users to search, retrieve, and view documents that have been scanned and indexed into the University's Document Imaging System.
Imaging can be accessed via a desktop client program that can be downloaded and installed on a user's Computer.
Oracle Imaging is no longer available from a Web browser. Please follow these instructions to install the desktop client.
What should Mac users do?
Please install the desktop Oracle Imaging client using a PC emulator such as Parallels. The current version of Oracle Imaging isn't compatible with Macs.
What should Oracle Imaging "Web" users do?
The Oracle Imaging Web service is not available due to an incompatibility with a new Server OS. We apologize for this change in service. Please install the desktop Oracle Imaging client.
