Hometown: Payette, Idaho
I chose the University of Idaho College of Law because my current plan is to practice law in Idaho and because I was impressed with the individualized attention the staff and faculty dedicate to each student’s success. My time as a law student has been challenging thus far but I have gained valuable experiences that I hope have helped prepare me for being a lawyer.
My summer internships include positions as an intern with Yturri-Rose and with the Payette County Prosecutor. For my Semester-In-Practice during my 3L Fall, I will be externing with the Ada County Prosecutor.
In addition to being a Student Ambassador, I am currently the Senior Managing Editor for the Idaho Critical Legal Studies Journal and Vice President of Oral Arguments for the Moot Court Executive Board. In my free time I do indoor cycling classes and spend time with my friends exploring Boise.
My words of advice: Remember to keep some balance in your life. Keeping up with your classes but making connections and making time for yourself are just as important.
