Jodi Nafzger received a B.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism and her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. She and her husband Christian moved to Idaho in 2001. She was an Assistant City Attorney for nine years with the Boise City Attorney’s Office where she prosecuted misdemeanors and conflict felonies and provided police advice and training. She was a founding faculty member at Concordia University School of Law where she taught Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Evidence, and Professional Responsibility and served as Interim Director of Clinical Education. Her professional experience also includes private-sector public relations and marketing work in Alaska and Idaho. She currently serves as chair of the Boise City Ethics Commission, on the governing board of the Professionalism & Ethics Section, and on the Idaho Women Lawyers Board of Directors. Jodi, Christian, and their two boys enjoy skiing, backpacking, paddling, and traveling.
