Study In Need of Pregnant Women Planning to Breastfeed
July 26, 2019
The Margaret Ritchie School of Family and Consumer Sciences is recruiting soon-to-be-breastfeeding mothers to participate in a study on whether variation in milk composition is related to developing mastitis — a painful condition experienced by nearly a third of breastfeeding women.
Participants need to be planning to breastfeed for the first six weeks after delivery of their baby. Milk samples will be collected weekly. Study participants will receive a $100 gift card. More information is available by contacting Christina Pace at 208-301-3740 or email@example.com.
