PERSI Workshops Scheduled Friday in Human Resources

Maria Quitugua, PERSI training specialist, will be conducting three workshops Friday, Sept. 13, in the Human Resources Main Conference Room, Moscow. All PERSI-eligible employees are invited to attend. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Workshops include:

  • READY! (8:30-9:30 a.m.) For new members just starting out in PERSI.
    Topics include: beneficiaries, defined benefit, contribution rate, eligibility, vesting, interest, statutes – diversify to minimize risk and myPERSI.
  • SET! (9:45-10:45 a.m.) For PERSI members in mid-career.
    Topics include: Choice Plan, death benefit, disability benefit, retirement formula, rule of 80/90, service retirement, purchase of service, managing your finances, buyback and myPERSI.
  • GO! (11a.m. to noon) For PERSI members nearing retirement age.
    Topics include: retirement options, contingent annuitant, pop up, benefit estimates, Choice Plan distribution, PERSI and taxes, working in retirement and myPERSI.
