Faculty Success Seminar on Project Management Plans for Large Proposals Rescheduled for April 15

January 16, 2020

The Faculty Success Seminar, “Developing Successful Project Management Plans for Large Proposals,” originally planned for Wednesday, Jan. 22, has been rescheduled. The seminar will now be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, in IRIC 305. During the seminar, the Office of Research and Faculty Development will present the components of compelling management plans and share resources to help investigators create successful plans.

While not all grant proposals require the inclusion of a management plan, larger, more complex proposals typically do. The most effective management plan thoughtfully conveys a set of coordinated activities and structure for the proposed project to achieve its intended outcomes.

The academic schedule for the spring 2020 Faculty Success Seminars is available online. These one-hour seminars will deliver information to enhance the competitiveness of proposals seeking funding to support research and scholarly efforts. Seminars will take place 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, in IRIC 305 (see schedule for exact dates) and will also be connected to other U of I centers via Zoom.

All seminars are open to faculty members, postdocs and graduate students, and they will be recorded.
