University Honors Program
November 15, 2018
On Nov. 13, the University Honors Program held its second annual "Student Achievement Celebration" on campus to recognize the academic, experiential and leadership accomplishments of 77 honors students. Students were recognized for their 2018 accomplishments in five different categories: participation in undergraduate research and studying abroad, writing and publishing academic manuscripts, serving as teaching or research assistants, receiving a distinguished scholarship or research grant, and serving in a leadership or service role – including editing the Honors Program publication, "The Looking Glass," coordinating its book club, serving its student club or participating in a fall service-learning trip to the U of I McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS). Congratulations to all our Honors Program students.
