New U of I Research Published on Idahoans’ Climate Change Attitudes

Dilshani Sarathchandra and Kristin Haltinner, faculty in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, have published a new article titled "Trust/Distrust Judgments and Perceptions of Climate Science: A Research Note on Skeptics' Rationalizations," in the journal Public Understanding of Science. The study uses interviews with residents of Idaho who identify as skeptical of climate change to examine how they rationalize their doubts about climate science and scientists.See the full paper.
