College of Science Staff, Faculty and Graduate Student Awards for 2019

The College of Science held its annual staff, faculty and graduate student awards ceremony on Monday, March 25. The students who received the Dean's Graduate Award were Andrew Canada (Geology), Rosebella Capio (Statistical Science), Rajani Dhingra (Physics), Sarah Hendricks (BCB), Laura Jenkins (Biological Sciences) , Dan Reiss (Mathematics), David Russell (Geography). Sarah Hendricks also received the Diane Haynes Memorial Award as the college's outstanding graduating graduate student.

The other awards received that night were the Early Career Faculty Award: Chris Remien (Mathematics), Outstanding Teaching Award: Chanel Clary (Biological Sciences), Staff Outstanding Service Award: Jean Norris (Biological Sciences), Dyess Faculty Fellowship: Jason Barnes (Physics), Heimsch Faculty Fellowship: Michelle Wiest (Statistical Science), COS Advisory Board Faculty Fellowship: Luke Harmon (Biological Sciences), and COS Distinguished Faculty Award: Jerry Fairly (Geological Sciences).
