Dr. Grace Goc Karp Retirement Announcement

Dr. Grace Goc Karp will be retiring from the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences this spring. Dr. Goc Karp joined our faculty in 1993, achieving tenure in 1995. She leaves us as a Professor of Physical Education and program coordinator for Exercise, Sport and Health Science. She was no stranger to the Vandal Family as she received two degrees from University of Idaho–an MS in Physical Education in 1981 and a doctorate in Sports Pedagogy in 1985. During her distinguished career, Dr. Goc Karp has served as Assistant Chair and taught across the curriculum in Exercise, Sport and Health Science. She has consulted with the states of Idaho and Washington on standards, assessments and after-school programs. Dr. Goc Karp has been an invaluable mentor and part of our team for more than two decades.
