Kudos to Amanda Ferstead
December 08, 2020
Amanda Ferstead, Mental Health Program coordinator, has worked hard this semester to get several new initiatives off the ground in support of student wellbeing on campus. Both virtual Mental Health First Aid and Sources of Strength are evidence-based prevention programs that take quite a bit of coordination and time to implement with fidelity. Amanda has launched both programs with ease and is forming great relationships with students implementing the Sources of Strength model through the Wellbeing Ambassador program. She is a great team player and always eager to help out.
