University of Idaho Holds Open Theatre Auditions for Spring Season

MOSCOW, Idaho — December 30, 2019— Auditions for the University of Idaho’s 2020 spring theatre season will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Hartung Theater, 625 Stadium Drive, Moscow. Auditions are open to anyone with an interest in live theatre, including community members. Callbacks will be held the next day.

U of I’s Department of Theatre Arts will produce three spring productions: the premiere of “Deep Calls,” a surreal drama about a young girl leaving a life of prostitution, by Kendra Phillips; “The Moors,” a dark comedy by Jen Silverman; and “You Can’t Take It With You,” a family-friendly comedy by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart.

Auditioners should prepare a one-minute monologue or be prepared to do a cold reading from a provided script. To sign up and learn more details, visit
