How to Register

Students may register for summer and fall 2021 in VandalWeb using the new tablet-friendly option or the traditional. Beginning September 4, 2021 the traditional option will be no longer be available as all activity will be transitioned to the new functionality.

Using VandalWeb Registration

Login to VandalWeb by entering your username and password and clicking the Login button. If you are a new user, visit Vandal Setup to activate your account. Users needing assistance with their login should contact the ITS Help Desk.

You will be routed to Action Item Processing to complete your Financial Terms and Conditions and/or Health Insurance Requirement agreements before registration.

There are registration deadlines each semester; VandalWeb will not allow registration actions beyond the noted deadlines.

  1. Select Students tab
  2. Select Registration
  3. Selection Registration: Add/Drop Classes
  4. Select Prepare for Registration
  5. Select desired term from the drop-down list and click Continue

In addition to showing your registration time, the page confirms your registration status, lists any holds on your account, and displays your current curriculum, hours earned, and academic standing

  1. Select Students tab
  2. Select Registration
  3. Select Registration: Add/Drop Classes
  4. Select Register for Classes
  5. Select the desired term from the drop-down list and click Continue
  6. Select the Enter CRNs tab
  7. Enter a valid CRN, the 5-digit number found on the Class Schedule. Each class section has a unique CRN. Click + Add Another CRN to add additional classes.
  8. Click Add to Summary
  9. Inspect your classes in the Schedule and Summary panes
  10. Click Submit
  • Check the Status column. Successful classes have a status of Registered. Errors will display if problems exist (see more information about registration errors)
  • If a class is full, a FULL - SELECT WAIT LIST & SUBMIT error appears. Reserve your spot in line by selecting Wait List from the drop-down in the Action column. Click Submit again. See more information about how wait lists work.
  • Students may also view and order the books needed for their classes by selecting the Textbook Express option under the Registration menu.

  3. Select Registration: Add/Drop Classes
  4. Select Register for Classes
  5. Select desired term from the drop-down list and click Continue
  6. Select DROP or WEB WITHDRAW from the Action column drop-down list (see registration deadlines)
  7. Click Submit

  3. Select Registration: Add/Drop Classes
  4. Select Register for Classes
  5. Select the Schedule and Options tab
  6. Click the underlined number in the Credits column. Enter the correct number of credits.
  7. Click Submit

Changing to Audit requires the instructor permission, therefore this action cannot be done through VandalWeb. Add the class for regular credit, then obtain the instructor's signature on the Audit section of the Change of Registration form and submit to the Registrar's Office.

The traditional Add/Drop Classes page in VandalWeb will only be available for summer and fall 2021 registration until September 4, 2021

To register, add, wait list, drop, or withdraw:

  1. Select Students
  2. Select Registration
  3. Select Add/Drop Classes
  4. Select semester from drop-down
  5. Click Submit
  • To Register or Add: enter the 5-digit CRN(s) in the Add Classes Worksheet section click Submit Changes button
  • To Wait List: if the class is noted as full when attempting to add, select Wait List from the Action drop-down and click Submit Changes button
  • To Drop or Withdraw: select from the Action drop-down next to the class and click Submit Changes button

To change variable credits:

  1. Select Students
  2. Select Registration
  3. Select Change Class Options
  4. Enter the correct number of credits next to the class
  5. Click Submit Changes button
