Research Funding Opportunities, May 2016
Apply for an NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Supplement
Did you know that if you have a grant funded by the NSF that you are likely eligible to apply for an REU Supplement?
The NSF strongly supports research participation by undergraduate students in any of the areas of research funded by the National Science Foundation. REU Supplements may be included as a component of proposals for new or renewal NSF grants or cooperative agreements or may be requested for ongoing NSF-funded research projects.
If you are interested in cultivating undergraduate research or in involving an undergraduate student in a dynamic and productive manner, please refer to the REU Supplements section of NSF Solicitation 13-542.
Proposals for REU Supplements can be submitted at any time during the year and use a streamlined format. Undergraduate student participants in REU Supplements must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals or permanent residents of the United States.
For additional information, contact your university sponsored projects administrator and/or your cognizant NSF Program Officer.
