Cybersecurity for Power Systems
Brian K. Johnson, a professor a Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories endowed chair in power engineering, received $28,000 from Battelle Energy Alliance LLC for “Resilient, Scalable Cyber State Awareness of Industrial Control System Networks to Threat: Power System Design and Testing.” Read about Johnson’s past work securing power systems.
Innovation to Improve Food-Water-Energy Systems
Barbara Cosens, a professor in the College of Law, received $275,000 from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture for “Increasing regional to global-scale resilience in FEW systems through coordinated management of storage in concert with innovations in technology and institutions.” Learn more about this project, a collaboration with Washington State University.
