Investing in Potatoes in Idaho and Across the Nation
College of Agricultural and Life Sciences researchers Fangming Xiao and Louise-Marie Dandurand received a combined $109,316 from the Idaho Potato Commission for a project to identify Pale Cyst Nematode effectors to develop PCN resistance in potatoes. CALS researchers Erik Wenninger and Alexander Karasev received a combined $83,594 from the National Potato Promotion Board to study the impacts of zebra chip disease on potato exports to the Pacific Rim.
