What are your plans for after graduation?
I will spend the next year working as a scribe in the emergency department of a hospital in Portland, Oregon. During this time, I’ll be applying to many medical schools across the country, hoping to be accepted and start during the fall of 2017.

What should incoming first-year students know?
Take a variety of different classes because you will never know what will spark your interest. Also get involved on campus in any way possible.

What advice to you have for other students in your major?
Participate in undergraduate research! Also develop good time management skills so that you can accomplish all of your goals.
