Boise K-12 Programs

Boise School District

The U of I Confucius Institute partners with schools in Boise, Idaho to provide Mandarin language and Chinese culture programming to Treasure Valley students. This addition of cultural and language learning, fun engagement, and world perspective to the school curriculum is provided free of charge.

The U of I Confucius Institute currently partners with the following institutions, providing each with at least one UICI instructor to lead Mandarin language and culture classes for students:

Confucius Institute - Boise K-12 Programs
The Confucius Institute Chinese Instructor, Rouding Wang and a student from Boise High School brandish their hand-made Chinese lanterns. Other common class activities include calligraphy, brush painting, paper-cutting, singing Chinese songs, making handcrafts, and studying Chinese traditional clothing, Beijing Opera and Chinese holidays.
