Soil Stewards Student Club

Join the Soil Stewards Student Club!

Our goals are to promote the preservation of natural resources and sustainability through community outreach, research and experiential learning at the Soil Stewards Farm.

Participants at the Soil Stewards Farm are a diverse group joined by the desire to effect change and grow healthy, organic food on the University of Idaho, Moscow campus. Soil Stewards Farm rely on students, faculty and community members alike in order to achieve the goal of growing delicious food while conserving our natural resources.

Soil Stewards Student Club members range from undergraduate and graduate members, art majors, soil science majors, agriculture majors and environmental science majors.

Members of the club help run the Soil Stewards Farm from planting starts in the greenhouse to harvesting produce throughout the spring, summer and fall. The Soil Stewards Student Club sells produce seasonally at an on campus farm stand and to Sodexo campus dining.
