Asma's research areas primarily revolve around Media Sociology and Media Ethics. She delves into local news dynamics, innovative approaches to fulfilling community information needs, and organizational and managerial decision-making.
Asma hails from Bangladesh. She has extensive experience in national television, covering various issues, including politics and local and national elections. Additionally, she has worked at television stations OETA-Oklahoma and DW, Germany. Asma is a Fulbright Scholar under the US Department of State.
