Admitted students have the option to defer their acceptance for one year on a case by case basis. Students interested in deferring should e-mail their request with a brief explanation to lawadmit@uidaho.edu. The request would then need to be approved by the Director of Admissions. This process typically takes 1-2 weeks. If a deferral is granted, a letter will be sent to the student confirming the decision. There is no guarantee for the same amount of scholarships as the original admission year, but students will be evaluated for scholarships with the new pool of applicants and awarded on that basis.
