VE knows that University of Idaho students are talented and wants to recognize and promote student skills and passions. Browse opportunities below. If you have an idea but are not sure what opportunity is the best fit, let us know and we will assist in the next steps.
VE features University of Idaho students and their talents through the Student Spotlight. We seek a variety of acts, including live music, stand-up comedians, dancers, magicians, poets, acrobats, and other talents that can be featured in front of a student audience or table side act. We are seeking high energy and engagement to draw in passing students. We also host students whose talents are not currently being featured on campus through their major or class opportunities. Student Spotlight can also serve as auditions for larger event opening acts, like Finals Fest.
Compensation: Student Spotlight performers are compensated for their time. Compensation is discussed during the interest and scheduling process.

Much like Student Spotlight and Club Showcase, being an opening act for a larger event is a great opportunity to show off your skills. VE brings in national talent for performances allowing opportunities for students to open or emcee for larger audiences. Previous opening acts included DJing and performing live original music.
